Welcome to Load and Go Junk. By booking our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms are designed to ensure clear expectations, fair business practices, and a safe working environment for both our team and our customers.
1. Scope of Services
Load and Go Junk provides:
- Household Junk Removal: Furniture, appliances, general clutter, and similar items.
- Light Commercial Junk Removal: Office furniture, electronics, and small equipment.
- Minor Demolition & Disassembly: Breaking down items (e.g., shelving, furniture) to fit in our vehicle.
- Light Construction Debris: Drywall, wood scraps, flooring, and other minor debris that is pre-bagged, stacked, or otherwise ready for removal.
- Limited Hazardous Materials: Small quantities of household items such as paint cans, sealed cleaning chemicals, and batteries.
Prohibited Items
We do not accept:
- Industrial or large-scale hazardous waste (e.x asbestos, fuels, propane tanks, pesticides, medical waste, explosives).
- Bulk construction materials such as large loads of concrete, bricks, or roofing shingles.
- Oversized items that cannot be safely handled or loaded into our vehicle.
Note: All jobs are limited to what can reasonably and safely fit within our vehicle capacity. Multiple trips may be required and are subject to additional charges.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions of junk and site conditions during booking.
- Ensure items are reasonably accessible, with clear pathways for removal.
- Disconnect appliances and prepare items for removal in advance.
- Disclose any hazardous items prior to our arrival.
3. Pricing & Estimates
- Quotes are estimates based on the information provided at booking.
- Final pricing is determined upon arrival, based on the actual size, weight, and accessibility of items.
- Additional charges may apply for:
- Stair or long carries
- Disassembly of bulky items
- Multiple trips
4. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required before work begins.
- The remaining 50% balance is due immediately upon completion of the job.
- Payments must be made using approved payment methods (cash, card, or other agreed options).
- Non-payment may result in refusal of service and/or additional collection efforts.
5. Right to Refuse Service
Load and Go Junk reserves the right to decline or stop service if:
- The customer misrepresents the type, quantity, or nature of items.
- The work environment is unsafe or hazardous.
- The customer engages in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward staff.
- Payment is refused or delayed.
6. Liability & Damages
- While our team takes care to avoid damage, Load and Go Junk is not liable for damage to property caused by oversized items, pre-existing structural weaknesses, or conditions outside of our control.
- Customers accept responsibility for undisclosed hazardous materials or unsafe conditions.
- Once items are removed, ownership transfers to Load and Go Junk and cannot be reclaimed.
7. Recycling & Donations
We make every reasonable effort to recycle or donate items whenever possible. However, recycling or donation is not guaranteed and depends on item condition, local facilities, and regulations.
8. Scheduling, Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking without penalty.
- However, after three (3) cancellations by the same customer, a cancellation fee may be applied to future bookings.
- Load and Go Junk is not liable for delays or cancellations due to weather, traffic, or circumstances beyond our control.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the service is performed.
